I was debating the SS 12" and 18" cbe. After watching more videos, I'm gonna order the CF non-res. I like the CF look and the smooth exotic sound!

good point I didn't notice the socal in your location field. CA emissions are a pain from all I've heard over the years.

Hey guys how long does it take from the moment you pay to the moment you get the exhaust delivered to your door, I wanna know how long you guys waited on average, thanks!
Thinking of getting this exhaust but I'm afraid waiting would kill me I'm too impatient so if it's too long I might just explore another route but FI is definitely one of the best options just wish they had titanium tips

I ordered on September 1st and the wait-time then was 10-12 weeks. I ended up getting it on Black Friday (November 28th, I think?). How it works is you pay a deposit when you order, and then they run your card for the remaining amount when they actually build your order.

Well said SwissCheese. Lead times will vary depending on influx of orders. This time of the year tends to be our busiest season.

If it's our exhaust system you truly want, you will not be disappointed once we deliver. Our skilled fabricators take a great deal of pride in what they do and each exhaust system is hand built custom.

I think I ordered on the Black Friday weekend,or just after. They honoured a Black Friday deal anyways ,and I just received tracking info. Should be on my doorstep on Thursday.

and that reminds me,I gotta book a tune for the girl.

Edit: I ordered gen 3 intakes and got them a week later. They asked me if I just wanted to do a deposit for now,but I paid the whole thing anyways. And true to there word,they delivered on schedule. Awsome guys to deal with

100% fact. the quality of an FI exhaust is unmatched.

the wait seems like it takes forever but the day that big box arrives makes the wait time feel like you ordered yesterday.

Of course I order during the busiest time of year! I ordered mine yesterday with the CF mufflers. My ECD is 6/5-6/19. Even with that long of a wait there is no question in my mind. My excitement is only going to keep building until the installation day! My other top choices were the ARK DTS and Motordyne Shockwave. Even with no wait on those I still choose to wait a few months to get the FI! Great things are worth waiting for and I don't think I will have any regrets with my decision.

What is the current lead time if I was to order one now? I now have a 2011 370z 6MT. I Used to have a 2010 with the Stillen exhaust/Gen3 Intakes, not sure which route I'll go this time. Does anyone have a comparison of quality of the exhaust compared to Stillen, also how it holds up to the beautiful salt and snow that we get plenty of in the Northeast?

Thank you for taking an interest in our products. Our current lead time is 11-13 weeks. As we always say, "this may be a slight over estimate, but it's best to under promise and over deliver"! We have close to 1,200 CBE customers that can give their testimony about the wait and whether it is worth it or not.

I cannot comment on the Stillen portion question out of professional courtesy, however I can tell you that our CBE uses all 304 stainless steel tubing. Our resonators, mufflers and tips are also 304 stainless steel. The flanges are mild steel and then nickel plated. All of this will hold up to salt and snow just fine.

FI quality is second to none and if that wasn't enough they back it with the best customer service you can find anywhere.

even though I live in the NE I can't help you with the winter question since I put mine in hibernation mode when the winter comes. wish I had some insight for you on that question.
