Seemed much quitter this morning (almost too quite ). I don't know how long it takes to wear in (It's been on for a week).

I am not sure if air temperature has to do with how an exhaust sounds, but it was warmer in the morning today then yesterday.

I forgot the amount of miles Tony mentioned before there is about a 5% decrease in sound, but maybe you have passed that now.

Just read back a few pages of posts. After that you probably won't be considering anymore.

Could be. I drive about 70 miles in a weekday, so about 350 miles since the install.

Seems like more than 5% (how does one even quantify that), but I like it, I like it a lot. I was having some small amount of buyers remorse. No anymore.

Buyers remorse because it was too loud?

Could be your "ear dyno" telling you how awesome it sounds now.

And any buyers remorse for me that existed disappeared after the cold start at the shop and wasn't even a thought after the test drive after the install. And forget about the drive home or the last six plus months of ear orga$ms I have experienced. Just saying

Yes. The first few days it was louder then I was hoping and the wife was complaining. But today it was perfect. Lets see how it sounds tomorrow.

I knew it was going to get quieter, but was not sure by how much.

I received my CBE on the 27th. I just finished installing her this morning. Easy and strait forward install after removing the old exhaust. It took me a good 5 hrs to remove my nismo one. Had a super seized nut that would not come out. I sprayed a gallon of pb on her, use a 1/2 socket on a breaker with my jack' s 2' bar on them end and still no2 give. I guess 34 k miles with of corrosion got the best of her ads me. Ended up taking the cross member off and removing the thing in one piece minus the muffler. PITA !! Out then only took me 40 minuts to install the F I and get my car back on the ground. Only help I needed was hanging the two mufflers.
