yes it did!!!

wolfesquire 04-04-2014 09:45 PM

So I place a hold on an exhaust for $300 and then before it gets shipped out, I pay it off?

cooltoy 04-04-2014 09:54 PM

Yep.

snowsurfdirtx 04-05-2014 09:43 PM

I finallllly got some video of the exhaust setup.. once again, I'd like to thank Lance and Tony, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the customer service.. exhaust sounds amazing and when you're driving behind it with headlights on the carbon pops at ya, but also looks stealthy at first glance which is exactly what i wanted. sorry for the dirty picture, rained on the way to the dyno run :(

Do you guys check at the lines that run at 10 - 11 o'clock on the passenger side cans? I cannot tell what that line supplies but it is close to the cans and want to make sure that is safe. I regularly check.

Are you talking about the fuel line that's next to the muffler on the passenger side? You should have gotten a heat shield cloth to put around it with the exhaust?

Talked to Danny from Fast Intensions this morning and #939 will be ready for me to pick up this Friday!

I knew it was the fuel line after figuring out where it came from. The heat shield they provided is there alright. Tony did the install. It's just too close so I have to check frequently.

No brake checking allowed.

Sh0velMan 04-08-2014 07:51 AM

that's not a fuel line.. it's a vacuum line for the EVAP system.

If you got rear-ended and that line were cut (unlikely) nothing would happen at all except maybe a check engine light.

Sh0velMan 04-08-2014 07:55 AM

For reference, I stuck a $5 Vatozone "breather filter" on mine when I deleted my evap system. Maybe I'll take a pic sometime when I'm back there.

If you have inspections in your state, I'd leave it alone. Entire system only weighs around 5 or 6 pounds.

Almost wish I'd left mine alone :P

Okay not really, but still.

We all went through the wait! Its worth it trust me!!

Worst part is when your on the fence for about a month. Then when you do order it, you realize you wasted four weeks trying to decide. My advice is once your relatively sure you are going with an aftermarket exhaust, just place your order. If you decide to go another route you can always sell you place in line and recoup your deposit. Don't be like me I went back and forth from October through January, when I finally did order, I realized it would already be on the car if someone had given me the advice above.

jhalloran004 04-10-2014 10:27 PM

FINALLY found time to install this baby at the garage tonight after work. One word - AMAZING!!! The setup I went with was non resonated and non resonated test pipes.....and man is this thing loud! Install took about 2.5 hours total. 1.5 hours alone were spent on the 2 demon bolts...in which i ended up getting mad and torching them off. I would like to personally thank Tony and his team for making such a phenomenal exhaust. For anybody that is on the fence as far as price or wait time....I can tell you that this was worth every single penny spent and day waited for this thing. All I can say is wow.

Also, within 30 seconds of leaving my garage...go figure I have a cop on my tail. With a couple deep breaths and lift of the throttle, he luckily turned away pretty quickly.

Bulldog_z34 04-11-2014 12:37 AM

Just finished my install!! It was smooth sailing! It sounds 10000000x better than I thought! no videos do any justice for this exhaust! I went with the non res and CF cans! I literally can't explain how happy I am with this purchase!

I think a couple people are not using/buying this exhaust, and we feel sorry for them.

Got my exhaust this last week. Exhaust came in Tuesday. Detailed professionally Wednesday, exhaust installed Thursday. I did the 18inch resonators with resonated high flow cats.

So far sounds great. Bit louder inside the cab with a bit of drone. I heard it will quiet down just a bit. Does sound excellent!

My suggestion(as this is what I did with my shop who installed the exhaust) is to demand to speak with the tech who will install the exhaust. I pulled out the instructions and specifically told the tech to READ THIS THROUGH BEFORE INSTALLING! Some parts look symmetrical but aren't and many other key points can't be missed to be installed properly.

The shop stated when I set up the appointment that most of these aftermarket exhausts don't fit perfectly and it would cost more to alter. I said NO ALTERING NEEDS OR BETTER BE DONE. When I picked it up they said there was no problem with install.

Sounds amazing!!

200. Took it to a shop that just does brake and exhaust. Been around for a long time. I wouldn't just take it anywhere though.

jcasti07 04-12-2014 02:10 PM

I'm planning on installing this exhaust on my own as I've done with my other mods, but I'm just curious why some of y'all are paying to have others do it for so much $$$. It's an honest question and I only ask because I've seen a lot say that they took it to a shop.
