Alright fellas...I'm putting my flame suit on.

Has anyone seen or known of someone running the FI long tube headers with the Ark Grip exhaust? Or can it even be done? I have been all over Google and the sites search function and can't find anything to save my life. Haha

You are now part of the Cwizz and FPenvy sales crew...not helping! I still have a few more weeks to decide before he starts production on mine.

Haha, if I'm going broke, I'm taking dudes with me! I honestly didn't realize it affected the sound, I thought it was just to make them a bit lighter. I'm not really worried about a few pounds, but when I realized it sounds better (in my opinion) I kinda had to have it. Plus I have plans to do CF all over my car, so that works out perfect.

Agree buddy! I got carbon signal front interiors and rear diffuser and about to order the carbon side skirt. All carbon then under my car will be carbon cans. And the carbon sound awesome! Worth the wait and money!!!:)

Yupppp finally something newer =))

Puma0183 06-14-2012 09:18 AM

I was finally able to install my FI non-resonated set up on the car yesterday (#516). I'm going to say that some people say that the non-resonated add a lot of drome in the cabin, and honestly I din't notice it as much. If it would of been any quieter it would of been disapointing. But also because it is not my daily driver is just fun to drive it whenever I get a chance.

DarkPath 06-14-2012 03:21 PM

Sounds like a tracking number for 529 is just around the corner!

BTW - Sorry to hear about your loss Tony. What a drag to hear about it on your behalf, The Z community cares man... Hope time brings some solace.

518 - Recieved and installed my exhaust yesterday.

This thread is hilarious and helpful...after reading through it and speaking with Danny at FI I have made up my mind. I was originally going to order the Berk Technologies CBE but the FI with CF 18" res. has me excited. So I'm waiting for Tony to call me Monday to place my order and wait anxiously through the summer for my toy.

Thanks for everyones input!

Soooo glad to see you have BC BR's, I have those on order aswell. I am a bit concerned that I may scrape the mufflers once lowered. Please let me know how that setup works out for you. Congrats on your new toy!!!

Puma0183 06-15-2012 10:50 PM

great suspension! ill keep you updated! but i think you'll be fine unless you plan on slammin the car all the way down. I went down just to eliminate the wheel gap, good looking drop but still conservative enough for everyday use. I havent scraped anything with the exception of that stupid plastic underspoiler on the front bumper and i only scrape that on my driveway which is pretty steep. i daily drive mine around Long Island and havent had problems anywhere yet... knock on wood. Tony also said that i shouldnt have any issues with my type of drop because they raised the exhaust a tad bit to help compensate. but i always drive dropped safely anyway

Gasdoc 06-16-2012 07:06 PM

Came home last night from a week of vacation to find a beautiful box on my back porch with Fast Intentions written on it !!! I have to say everyone has been right. This exhaust looks to be very high quality !!

Can't wait to get it installed ! Thanks, Tony !!!

Uh oh...I have NO intentions of dropping mine conservatively. LOL...Good thing I'll have the exhaust on first, then springs so I can determine how low I can go. The roads here are great so I'm going looooowwwww:driving:

I wonder how much of a HP increase you'd get if you wrapped your whole car in F.I. packaging tape... :icon08:

yea yea lol

serious F.I. note though. when do you think tony will start a thread for his TT kit or post any new info on it.

I got a itch for forced induction and the only cure is more F.I. products.

Right now Tony's prolly neck deep in making sure their transfer from the old shop to the new shop goes as smoothly as possible. So that's prolly why we haven't seen much of him recently. I would expect the TT thread sometime in the next 2 months.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I'm like a few days away from getting mine, I can't wait!! Should be finished either tomorrow or Wednesday. Talked to Tony the other day, he said that my exhaust is the last one they'll do before they switch shops. I'm hoping to have it by Saturday, maybe I can install it over the weekend :excited:

congrats!! make sure you take some pics and let us know how it goes. install on it is very easy and straight forward.

Huck 06-19-2012 04:22 PM

On the CBE yeah, I'm sure, that shouldn't be a problem. The problem is that I ordered the long tube headers as well, a few different people are telling me that's about a 7 hour install. And since I don't have a lift, just a jack and stands, it might take me a bit longer.... Still gonna be worth it though

Jack stand for me. I installed mine like 3 hours including the test pipe. The kit was straight forward anyway. It was great to do it by yourself.

i should have went LTH but i just have the TP and yes those did take me a little extra time due to the "Demon Bolt" haha hopefully with LTH you wont have to worry bout that.

Huck 06-19-2012 06:46 PM

yeah it should all just come out as one piece. I've already taken my exhaust out before for something else, so I have no problem with that, but those damn headers are gonna be a PITA to get too...

NFSZ86 06-21-2012 09:19 AM

521 installed yesterday love it =))
