A-Train 09-05-2012 05:22 PM

Thanks Tony

Just placed my order today for a Fast Intentions C.E. system with 18" Resonators! (I got quite excited when i saw that Youtube video of the Saudi Arabian Dude doing WOT drive-bys in his red Zed). Can't wait to drive my Z with these bad mamba jambas installed!!!

Tony is a real stand-up Dude, I highly recommend other forum members to hit him up!

Gungrave 09-05-2012 08:00 PM

#567 shipped.

And dumb question lol. What does everyone do with their stock exhaust afterwards? Are you guys keeping them just in case? Tossing them? Or selling them? Just curious lol.

A-Train 09-05-2012 08:13 PM

Maybe sell it on Craig's or eBay or something. Oughtta be good for a few bucks. Don't plan on selling my beast, and any prospective new owner would be crazy to note love the exotic exhaust note of the F.E. I really don't want to keep lying around in the garage for spare parts.

Looks like I've got until December. It's all good, though. It'll be an early Christmas present!

Don't forget to post vids of stock vs. new when you get it installed!

I have my in my storage room. When I eventually sell or trade in the car, I'll go back to stock and sell my parts to start the mod fund on the next vehicle.

I hate storing stock parts, clutter drives me nuts. But I don't keep cars longer than 4 years, so I am going to find somewhere to stash the stock exhaust, springs and intakes.

divineelnur 09-05-2012 08:43 PM

I might need some therapy after this experience. I know its well worth the wait but I'm #599 and this is driving me crazy

Huan'z 09-05-2012 09:03 PM

I recommend keep the stock exhaust. Like mine last couple years with my Lexus is350. I no longer have the stock then I end up totaled my car. Can't take anything back because the estimator told me I can have my after market back but I need to install the stock back. Otherwise they will charge me back anything missing in the car. So it's sucks.

I'm gonna sell my stock exhaust to someone in my car club who wants an upgrade over base factory for cheap.

I'm in.....:happydance:

Just placed my order today and of course received great service from Tony who answered all my questions. And now the wait begins but it will be totally worth it as I believe this exhaust sounds amazing and the HP bump does not hurt

Is your PO on the receipt your order number?

I know what you mean. I'm 607 but have a few projects I'm working on to keep me preoccupied.

JungleZ 09-06-2012 08:51 PM

Ya im due for early November, this is going to be a brutal 2 month wait. I almost want to go into hibernation or something. Lay low and get occupied with something so time flies untill then.

Late November/Early December. :excited::icon14:

I guess I will settle for the intake I'm getting next week plus the install of the Springs and caber arms.

3zworld 09-07-2012 10:29 PM

Hey Tony,

I thought at one time you had 600 cell HFC'S for SC implementations but couldn't find them again on your site. I have the 300 cells resonated HFCs from you, will those hold up ?

dmhenderson 09-07-2012 10:36 PM

Calipers: powdered, installed
Headlight blackout: next saturday
door handles professionally painted: Monday
FI exhaust and HFCs + uprev tune: November
Wheel powder: tax refund time I'm guessing

Edit:
Interior red LEDs for trunk, overheads and license plate ordered.
NISMO oil filler cap ordered
NISMO rad cap ordered
(I literally forgot sh*t)

Modding is a goddamn sickness

You might get a faster response if you give him a Call 3z.

Don't forget the Oil Filler Cap and Radiator Cap... :bowrofl:

True..but then what fun would that be?

future370zzz 09-08-2012 04:15 PM

Are just the muffler cans and tips SS? The rest of the exhaust looks like regular steel. I thought the whole system would be SS like the prototype.

Stainless doesnt mean shiny. It's all the same stainless steal. The muffler and tips are "polished" steal while the rest is unpolished

Are the resonators supposed to be polished? Saw an early review that mentioned shiny resonators. Did it change from a fully polished to partially polished system?

Maybe for bling bling??? But I didnt add the polished option for my res testpipe because no one will see it?

Early prototypes had fully polished systems, but final product is partially polished. The resonators, mufflers, and tips are fully polished.

Just picked up the car from the shop. Had the 18"SS cbe installed. It it louder than i thought it would be from just reading everyones opinion on it. I think i made the right choice. It sounds really good and better than youtube videos. Very deep growl. When under load it gets loud inside. :))))

Videos please!!!

future370zzz 09-08-2012 11:00 PM

Videos don't do this exhaust justice. It will sound like every other youtube video. You really need to hear it in person. Super deep growl can't be picked up by vid cams.

I'm glad to hear this, I was starting to wonder if I should have gone 12" or non res.
I don't want too loud as I already have an intake which added a nice growl plus its my DD.
