After what seemed like forever...she had been delivered on 05/11/17..order number 1587...non reso-CF-PRSM placed a few days before Christmas....and wow it was worth the wait. Thanks Kevin and the staff at Fast Intentions for your continued excellence in customer service and dedication to car enthusiast such as myself. The exhaust is heaven under my feet. Not to mention...quality is top notch and superior to those exhaust systems I have had previously, and wow she is beautiful!

My advice to those wanting to pull the trigger..just do it and then stay away from this thread until you have about two weeks out...otherwise this thread makes time go by much slower and you will develop cotton mouth from drooling so much at the photos ....well that was my case..your mileage may vary lol.

Hi everyone, how do you clean the inside tips of our exhaust. mines turning gold. I have resonated TP as well.

Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish and little elbow grease will do the trick!

Those prismatic tips look awful. I will gladly trade you my stainless steel tips :yum:

Any plans in the works for FI doing a run of Black Chrome canisters and tips? I would really consider upgrading if so.

#1661 ordered 3/15/17. Today's the 10 week mark. Other orders placed around beginning of 2017 seem to ship at the 13 week mark so . . . . .here's hoping mid June!

Thanks for sharing the photos; your cars look great.

Although the Prismatic exhaust tips can sometime cause a delay in the build process, there is no substitute to how good they look in person; especially when paired with Carbon Fiber mufflers.

do the resonated SS tips & non-resonated burnt tips really make a difference in sound?

I'm thinking of just going NON-RESONATED / CF muffs / Burnt tips

for the best possible sound/volume while keeping everything else stock for now

The fitment is the same...they make sure of it and have loads of satisfied 15+ customers out there.

Since I was having SOHO Motorsports do the install and EcuTek tune, they placed the order with FI. That was on 3/9/17.

They should have it by Friday and the install is set for next Monday.

I ordered a week after you so that makes me pretty excited!

Good choice teggy. I have the same set up. I was worried that it would be too loud. It isn't. I kind of wish I went with the 12" res. now.

It sounds the same from the outside right? it's only from the inside where the sound is less loud

Kinda, sorta, maybe! I think that it may have quieted down from the outside as well, but can't be 100% certain. The miserable @ssh0le a few houses down always waves his fist at me when I drive by so the Z is still loud. The loudness in the interior has definitely dissipated somewhat. I think that after I had my Z1 CAI installed, the exhaust doesn't seem to bubble and burble as much as it did with the OEM intakes.

If anyone cares, I went with the most conservative setup, but after listening to my Z with someone else driving the FI exhaust is the most supreme sound a car can make. That is all.

No, they aren't magic. If its quieter inside the car its quieter outside the car. They'll help cut down on some resonance, but they will still reduce overall volume.
