I'll hopefully be soon then what set-up did you order?
|
18' resonated, SS mufflers, SS finish
|
Got an email from Next Level that essentially said they talked to Fast Intentions, they're grinding away as best they can to get stuff out, but order volume has been very high, so there's some delays.
Not too specific, nor surprising. |
Yeah I believe I'm at 17 weeks wait time, hoping it done soon my receipt said lastest completion date is May 25 to June 8, getting nervous now have a couple events coming up soon

*Resonated HFC's, CBE w/18" resonators, SS mufflers/tips* Sounds great, drives great. Nice work by SOHO Motorsports! http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1496708652 http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1496708652 |
this isn't a bash or anything, but i have been waiting over 17 weeks, and still nothing. only thing that starting too annoy me is there are a few guys who ordered after me, and have received there exhaust or is currently being shipped.
|
Kinda wierd, they had a job advert a couple months ago for a new welder
Surprised they didn't pick up an extra hand - sounds like business is booming, gotta boost production to meet demand. |
yeah i understand can be delays they seem busy, but im past 17 weeks, but im just annoyed guys that ordered after me are getting their exhaust.

Thanks for sending an email and we appreciate your patience. We plan on shipping exhaust system orders up to #1625 on Friday 6/9/2017. Feel free to send me a PM or email if you have any questions. Thanks, - Kevin |
Just got approved on the forum but ordered my FI system a couple weeks ago after reading all the positive reviews on here. 18" resonators, carbon fiber mufflers and prismatic tips. #1709. Thanks to Kevin, great to work with!

ok appreciate the reply, cant wait for it too come in.
|
(Oops, guess I should have kept quiet...)
|
I'm curious if FI gives priority to exhausts ordered through vendors like SOHO?

To All,
I wanted to take this opportunity to give you guys & ladies a little insight as to why our lead times have grown. February and March of this year we received the largest influx of orders in a two months span since we opened our doors 12+ years ago. On an average we sell about 16-22 370z cat backs per month. In that 2 month span we sold nearly 70 units. At first glance it can seem very overwhelming given the size of our workforce, but in normal fashion, we just extended our lead times and are always honest with our customers. We strive to build the highest quality system available, but our lead times are our setback. It sounds easier than it is, hiring more help. What we do is very intricate and requires a lot of experience, knowledge and a certain eye to deliver you the quality you've come accustom to. Fast forwarding to today... as of May 1st, we've hired a more a new employee. Cutting, bending, prepping, etc, etc. The easy stuff to speed the higher skilled people up. We are now getting more out the door than ever before. It may not look like it because we have more orders in the queue than ever before! Please rest assured that we are moving more completed product and our quality will never be sacrificed! Our quality is our #1-B goal, behind #1-A our service. Many years ago before Kevin came on board, I was trying to do it all. Juggling emails, orders and building product. He's been a godsend in giving me some quality of life back and helping our business grow. He is very good at what he does. He is your point of contact and will always strive to give you the best communication possible. We have a great system in place and almost all of the time meet or exceed the ship date we've given you on your invoice. That said, recently we've offered a new exhaust tip in to the equation. Our Prismatic tip has been a great mover and is a fresh take on our cat back. The local facility we have contracted to do the work is still ironing out quality and production bugs. No need to sound the alarm! I personally inspect every single tip before it's signed off in the build process. If it doesn't meet my standards, it is rejected! The good news is, we are close to perfecting this process and having plenty of inventory in stock. I'm bringing this up because some of these specific orders have been skipped and delayed in the past due to this. Kevin has made a point to reach out to those individuals and keep them up to speed. As for our dealers, they do receive a bump in lead time. Our network is rather large and complex. We have a lot of moving parts and people to keep happy. At the end of the day, it's about meeting our consumer's expectations. End consumer and dealer alike. My goal today is to give insight and put some minds at ease. If I've done that, mission accomplished! We all appreciate your business and patience. Thank you for your time. -Tony |
Thanks for posting that

FI Rocks!!!!!!
|
If you have not been to the FI facility you have no idea on the quality and expectations that are set by Tony and Danny! They are not about to hire some yahoo with a welding sheild and a pair of gloves...they got to have talent. If you want the best of the best you got to sometimes wait on excellence...it doesn't come overnight!

just installed mine, even with 18' resonated it sounds WAY loud than I expected inside AND outside the cabin hm..
though it looks and sounds amazing, shop said install was straight forward and not much adjustments needed |
It will get quiter after a couple of weeks
|
:iagree: with Cooltoy. I was worried at how loud my FI SS w/18" res CBE was when I first installed it. Now it is not as loud and now I wish I went with the 12" res. Oh well, live and learn.
|
received my tacking number today cant wait for it too come in.
|
Then i guess it's July for me

18" SS w/prismatic tips - Order #1586 finally installed today with Berk HFC's. It grumbles a bit more than I expected, but sounds great! Definitely notice a bit more power throughout the power band! Any recommendations on keeping the prismatic tips clean?
|
holy smokes!
Next Level just notified me I'm on the build list for next week! Might actually make it this month |

Meaning that he'll get used to it? Mine has been on just over 1 year (17,000+ miles) & has seemed to have gotten a bit louder-but sounds Awesome! Res TP's & 18" Res...as I too wanted to not alarm the neighborhood- but oh well; it's the most exotic sound that comes with it......I wouldn't change a thing! |
Still one of my favorite sounding exhausts. :driving:

Now that it is quieter, I sometimes miss that first week and the feeling the sound gave me, but I realize that it was much too loud for daily use. I am happy with the decision to go with 18's, but I have never heard 12's in real life. |
I have 12's and it sounds perfect to me...
|
there's a great youtube video by a forum member on here with NON-RES Catback installed fully stock with nothing else.
he calls everyone that says it's too loud a bunch of panzies hahaha from the youtube video it didn't sound that loud so thats why i went NON-RES also did research with other videos too. can't wait to get mine |

http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/z...zeRender_3.jpg As for the sound...I just hit 1k miles on this exhaust, and the sound has gotten deeper, louder and richer for me, again I am non-reso-CF. FI knew what they were doing when they designed it. The best way to describe it is like the porridge is not too hot and not too cold, it is just right! |
