Just installed fast intentions long tube headers and CF CBE with 12in resonators. It definitely sounds better, deeper smoother, no rasp. But it's not as loud as my previous setup which was stillen CBE and berk test pipes. J might go non resonated in the future even though I always told myself I hated rasp. Oh well I'm gonna give it a while.

Browse the forum for non resonator mid pipe... I am running CF non res setup with resonated HFC.. perfect amplitude!

BTW, guys I use mag blue polish and mother's powerball on the exhaust to keep it looking like new...

When they charge the rest of the amount for the exhaust do they notify you via e-mail?

I haven't gotten an email yet, I just saw the charge in my bank account. There should be an email with shipping information when it gets shipped though.

From what i'm told they charge the balance on monday and ship on friday. I got charged last monday and I got a tracking number on friday. Mine is sitting at customs atm. This is torture.

Also, is the time estimate for the exhaust to be sent to your house accurate? I don't want to wait so long LOL.

My shipping window was April 1-15. I got billed on March 30th and shipped on April 3rd.

So yes very accurate.

Yup, I remember seeing your name on this weeks build list. If all goes to plan you should have tracking info by Friday evening.
By default customers are automatically charged the remaining balance the week that the order will be shipping. By special request we can notify you when your final payment is due.
We are extremely accurate in our estimated shipping dates. We try to hit the first part of your shipping window. We strive to always hit our mark and keep our customers informed if unexpected delays occur.

I'm not sure about the tips. But, they have polished stainless steel mufflers or carbon fiber ones and Non-Resonated X Pipe, 12 inch resonators, and 18 inch resonators.

I've joined the club I have E46 guys exhaust now. Though I'm not an original owner glad I finally have one can't wait to install

Got mine installed over the weekend. It looks and sounds amazing. No youtube video can do it justice. Picked up the F.I. exhaust from Nurburgr1ng #477.

Thanks to Kevin for the new gasket/hardware kit and for sending me the install instructions via pdf.

Just got mine installed 2 hours ago, perfect fitment and of course it sounds awesome. I got CF NonRes and no regrets at all.

About drone, I thought it would be worst than it is. There is drone around 2.5k-2.8k but easily manageable and not that loud.

Also here in Quebec the police can give exhaust tickets (about 150$) just for having a modified exhaust. It's rare but it happens. It just so happens that about 2 minutes after I left the shop 2 cops on motorcycles pulled up behind me at a stoplight. They followed me about 5-6 km before I decided to turn on a street and they followed...At the next light they pulled up next to me in a turning lane and one of them gave me a thumbs up and told me he really liked how deep it sounded but not to go too crazy. I think I dodged one right there.

For a modified exhaust we get approx 150$ fine and 30 days impound.

I can usually go the whole week on a tank of gas to and from work, i'm already half empty in a day and a half. All those full throttle accelerations from stoplights and downshifts are getting expensive lol.

Well, after 5 months of sitting in my basement (4 for winter, 1 for the trouble of finding somewhere to install it), number 1054 is finally installed! I went with Resonated Test Pipes and the catback with 18" resonators. I'm happy with the sound. A little bit of drone at certain RPMs, but overall it's not bad at all. Absolutely no rasp, either!

Here are some pics. The only thing I'm worried about is that with the NISMO rear bumper, the tips don't look like they go out as far as they should. I'm sure it's fine, but I'm just worried that without the cats, stuff might build up on the bumper (see last 2 pics).
