It ISN'T an issue with stock cats. It only became an issue to me when we installed HFC's. If i were you, i would go ahead and cut the bracket off just so it isn't an issue in the future for whatever reason. Either way as stated, you get what you pay for so im not mad by any means. Just letting others know my experience and what i did to fix them.
By the way, i hope you bought it off ebay cause they have it posted on ebay for $50 less then forum price.........
