Help CNT Racing Test Pipe Install Issue

My shop was installing my CNT res. test pipes on my G37 and sent me a pic how the passenger side doesnt line up at all. The drivers side went on fine tho. It seems like it is a defective peice and was wondering if anyone else has had a problem installing them.

It defiantly looks as the TP is off. The heat sheild on the under carriage is more to the right. The flanges must be off where it mounts to the manifolds. Maybe more.

Yeah im gonna give them a call in the morning and get a replacement sent. It sucks cuz the car is also getting uprev tuned and theres one of the big NJ shows this sunday so i was trying to have this done by sunday

Yea, that might be pushing it. They may want it back before they send another. Hopefull they'll come threw.

They offered me a refund because they are sold out of the resonated test pipes. It seems like what happened was that they sent me 2 drivers side pipes.

That sucks. Seems like an awfully fundamental mistake to make. At least they're making the best of the situation.

Yea sux man sorry, How come you did not go HFC's. The WHP from TP's to HFC's is under 5-WHP. Probaly would have gotten a good deal on them.

Im planning on S/C sometime down the road and dont want the insides blowing out, and i like the sounds better with test pipes. Its more aggressive

fairladyZ34 is the first to have this problem, UPS label email to you so you can ship test pipe back for a full refund.

might want to go ahead and order these too.....

CNT performance CEL Eliminator Fix O2 Sensor Housing

i still had a CEL even with these. i had to jam steal wool inside the 90 degree bend and now my CEL comes on randomly. and yes the CEL is about the O2 reading.

Sucks that there was a mixup, but it looks like Nissangeneration is making things right. Props to them! But I know the feeling... you want to have things set up just right before a show. Hardly ever happens though. There's always something! lol

FWIW, I love my ERZ/CNT HFCs. No fitment issues on my G37xS sedan.
