But what's the test procedure in VA? I doubt it's anywhere near as stringent as it is in CA.

An O2 test is an O2 test - it'd still require swapping out the headers/cats again

Yeah but not all jurisdictions do an O2 test. In GA, they just hook up a cable to the OBDII sensor and check to see if you've had any recent CELs. If you haven't, you pass. It's that simple. No visual check, no sniffer. The only time they do an O2 test is on older cars that don't have an OBDII port. My 350 passed emissions without a problem and I was running test pipes.

After all my research on here and other boards these mods are a no brainer. The intake will be first for me since I can do that myself.

I have a question for those who have this. I saw some people mention that there is an exhaust rattle with the Stillen cat back. Is that true for all, or does it depend on how it's installed? Is there something I could tell them to watch out for when they are installing it? Thanks.

It's an installation issue. The instructions say to jack up the middle section before tightening all the bolts. Tell them to really, really jack it up as much as they can before tightening everything, otherwise when they remove the jack, that mid-section may hit the crossmember.

Here's a pic:

Thanks for the info Semtex! I'm glad to hear that the rattle can be avoided. That exhaust sounds so sexy.

BTW is that your Z on youtube posted with the name "chanbenb"? Just curious.
