The plenum spacer corrected an issue with the upper manifold design on the early VQ's.. the front cylinders suffered from starvation due to the original design, a plenum spacer would correct that, and offer some decent gains.
This design element has not been present for current motors, including the 370Z, so you won't see the need. |
