this is a bad idea as the exhaust is designed to maximize flow. causing unintended bends can and most likely will reduce performance. i have the top speed exhaust and like others had to use the washer trick on the cross bar. i also had to add washers the the mounts that hold the rubber hangers after i noticed that the left tip was starting to melt my rear bumper. also i have kinetix hfc's and its plenty loud and i have had good gains with this hfc/ exhaust combo. dont forget a good y-pipe! good luck!
