Was there any cutting involved for the install?
I'm sure the gains will be around 10whp or so.

No cutting involved, just the removal of a shroud and the air ducts and replacing the location of the windshield washer fluid reservoir tank.

I'm thinking if you already have a good exhaust the gains from this intake should not be to far off from gen3 or the reg AEM intake, cant say the same for the price though.

tony from Motordyne has stated a couple times that after he finishes up his new exhaust, he's going to turn his attention to making an intake for us. if this pans out, I am def going to wait before dropping any significant $$ on a CAI until he finishes his.

So basically it's a K&N developed Injen-style CAI with a Nismo sticker.
Well, a freebee is a freebee. Keep us posted on how it performs if they'll let you... good luck!

More like K&N developed an AEM-style intake with a Nismo sticker... If you all looked a little closer though you will notice that the placement of the MAF sensor (closer to OEM) is different from either a AEM or Injen CAI.
