Pop chargers are not going to yield those gains on the VQ.

The worst part of the pop charger is that thing they call a "heat shield". It's anything but a shield. During stop and go traffic, all the heat lying around the engine bay will have a negative impact on performance. (Once moving, heat shields aren't going to be much of a factor since there's colder air moving into the engine bay).

Most likely the fitment will be possible with a short tube style intake, but the function will most likely net dramatically different results.

These motors are not the same, and do not react the same to the same modifications.
