From what I have seen it's really not worth the money.

Hey man thanks, I am fairly new to the site and was unaware that we could do a search like that so sorry about the "beating a dead horse" post.

I saw orange so I didn't look at when you joined

But yeah search and advanced (google) search is pretty helpful.

I agree on the opinion that it's currently not worth it though..

I'm doing a before/after dyno at the Z1 meet.

The M-370 is well worth it. Yes it true HP and TQ will vary from one result to another, especially depending on what dyno is being used. I have had this for almost a year, I truly love it. Its power you can actually feel, you can tell the difference in the way the car revs and responds when driving. If you keep seeing the Motordyne threads, you’ll see its well worth it, a lot of R&D went into it, plus Motordyne produces great quality products. If this is your first time having a Z, do research on the company, they specialize with Z’s and G’s and have been producing great products for last couple of years. Many guys here on the Z forums are very technical and informative and are glad to help answer your questions.

IMHO...it really depends on your preference and perception of this product to say whether it is worth it or not....If you read the posts on the thread you will see that it did good for some but not for others...Granted that Motordyne put a lot of R&D into this product and also has been on the market for Z's and G's for years, but what did it for me was there just wasn't enough consistency with those that purchased it....

A lot of R&D.... Lol.. He figured out a way to relocate the bolt holes on a standard HR manifold and that's the only change he made... It's a OEM Nissan piece costing $250 if you bought it in the store, with changed bolt pattern...

With full bolt ons you will be losing power... Your money is better spend elsewhere... Or keep your money in your pocket until VVEL is widely incorporated into tuning.

They make great quality products, but this manifold for, what is it? 7-800 bucks is not worth it, at least on a fully bolted NA Z. Nothing against motordyne I would buy other products from them in a heart beat. Its kind of like stillen, I love there intakes exhaust etc but there SC kit is crap from what I have seen. (just an example)

Yeah, I was one of the first to test it. The gains are very minimal for the price. I gained about 8whp/wtq for a matter of 1000rpms from 5k-6k rpms. Othere than that, it varied from -3/+3 whp/wtq.

I would have rather saved my money.

I love mine... It took about 25 miles of ECU adjusting but the mid-range pulls so much harder. There were areas in the mid-range I picked up 12whp, 12ft-lbs to the wheels and made an additional 6whp all the way up to redline from the top-end.

I love mine as well...
I had to take my Z in for a Short Block replacement due to oil consumption at 39k miles. I had M370, ERZ HFC, Gemini CBE, K&N Typhoon, and Cobb AP (AAM Canned Tune).

I have 1500 miles on the new Short Block and have all my parts back on except the M370 and I can definitely tell the difference. I’m past the break in so I am able to go WOT in my Z again and it’s the tq and the howl that M370 makes that I really miss. I can still fell the power at the top of the RPM range but at lower RPMs and mid range the power/tq is no longer noticeable. It almost feels like dead spots were I would normally have a grin from the lower/midrange RPM pull.

I think it is worth purchasing. I will be putting mine back on in a few months can't wait!
