MOTORDYNE ART Pipes - Review

Tony, I have a 2010 G37xS sedan. Shoot me a PM. I live just North of Chicago. I already have ERZ HFC installed.

Retorqued all bolts and still getting the same codes. Going to take off the M370 manifold to see if that's the culprit.

Footloose, and updates on your SES.

The sensor may simply be able to see that there are no cats. The extended sensor bung eliminates the SES most of the time but not 100% of the time. I wouldn't bother with taking off the manifold though. That doesn't have anything to do with it.

The only other possibility for the code is the sensor itself but that would be unlikely unless the sensor was dropped or damaged in some way.

Would placing steel wool be an option here?

I dont think it's the sensors either bc the code is on both sides.

Absolutely. You can always add more to what is already there.

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is normal but I have about 1200 miles on my ART pipes and I noticed the vibration from it has gotten worse. Especially when I stop and have the car on drive, now I have to move it to neutral to ease the vibration. Anyone else experiencing this?

Also got my SES warning light came on, second time should I do another reset? Is it possible for the pipes to cause any damage to the car?

I have yet seen a good feedback after the latest design of ART, All of them are having issues.

Tony is there something you can do about this?

When did you purchase them?

Its normal for the breakin period to go up before it goes back down again but if it isn't gone by 1500 miles I'll send you a replacement. The new break in free design.

The CEL is not a problem but it does indicate the O2 sensor detecting free oxygen in the exhaust stream. If the sensor is still able to detect free oxygen it can be turned off if you get an Osirus tune.

Thoes are the prior design you are referring to.

The new ones with the vibration dampening bracket do not have a break in period.

The exhaust is all built and done. The only thing left to do is get it into a production stream.

Thanks for getting back to me Tony, I purchased the pipes back in early August. Didn't reach the 1500 miles break in yet, I'm around 1200 or so. Also I don't have the vibration dampening shield either, if it's cool with you I don't mind getting a replacement unit and not worry with breaking in the pipes.

Sounds good, I'll do a quick reset and try to find someone who has an Osirus tune.

Hey G37sHKS it's not true, many positive feedback with the ART pipes. There are some kinks to work out but overall I'm happy with the performance of the pipes. I'm sure many people who bought the ART pipes didn't regret it
