MOTORDYNE ART Pipes - Review

HFC gives more who but TP will give better torque. So you will feel ART more responsive and better torque reading but I'm not sure if there will be more

So you will feel ART more responsive and better torque reading but I'm not sure if there will be more then 3-4 whp difference.

This is actually untrue. The only thing you're dealing with here is more or less back pressure which can effect exhaust scavenging if the difference is great enough.

If anything, the TP would give more HP since it will allow the exhaust air to flow at a higher velocity that could be beneficial at high RPM's.

Also, since horsepower is a function of tq, saying one gives more hp and one gives more tq is saying the same thing. It's the rpm that the torque is produced at that determines the effect on your car and how much hp it gives you.

+ 10 tq at 3000 rpm is a gain of 5.7 hp.
+ 10 tq at 7000 rpm is a gain of 13.3 hp.

Very large difference and yet the exact same "tq gain"
Personally, on an engine like this I wouldn't worry about gains at all under ~5000 rpm, as long as power under that rpm didn't suffer greatly.

If you wanted a torquey motor the 5.0 would have been a better option as this motor will never get you anywhere fast if you don't rev it like it's supposed to be.
