I felt like there was some drone in the 2,000-3,000 RPM range with the 18" CBE and stock cats. I could deal with it but it would give my gf (who has more sensitive hearing) headaches after long drives.
It didn't help that the highway driving we did included a lot of hills and mountains, so the car was constantly loaded in that rev range. I don't think you will regret the exhaust. It sounds amazing. And if for whatever reason you don't like it, it's not exactly a hard system to sell.
