Another quick question, if I have a tiny chip in my paint on my fender, its not a dent, just a chip from I think a rock from the road,

Another quick question, if I have a tiny chip in my paint on my fender, its not a dent, just a chip from I think a rock from the road, that won't cause the paint to keep chipping away or the chip to get bigger right?
