Had to buy new bolts and nuts, well worth it when experimenting with different quantities of washers.

bolt = 10mm-1.25 x 30mm
nut = 10mm -1.25
lock washer = 10mm

The socket wrench for both bolt and nut = 17mm

Update: after hearing the video of 1.5 washers I was not impressed. It sounded like ALL engine and no pipe. Even though the cabin sounded great I wanted a little more on the drive by sound. So today I went to 2.5 wahsers and then 3.5 washers.

2.5 washers sounded good
3.5 washers sounded even better

I guess after driving around for a few days you get used to the sound and can either shift at 3k rpm with no real noise in cabin nor on drive by. There after it starts to wake up as the rpms climb up to 4k and then really wails above 4.5k rpm.
