Some dealers will give you a handful for free and some will charge you about the same amount as that listing.

My dealer? Probably 3 bucks a washer.

My dealer gave me a bunch for free, but they are just the "regular" washers. The tech said that they used the "regular" ones for all their oil changes (Not surprised), and work just as well. But for less than $1 for each oil change, why not use the one that originally came with the car.

I went to Grubbs Infiniti down the road and asked for a couple/few. He gave me about 6 or 8, no charge. They are the raised copper washers as they are supposed to be.

nice. wish my dealer was nice like that. i usually just buy the filter and washer along with my online order for something else to save on freight.

...or on my dd, i just reuse the old one if it's in good shape. too lazy to go to the dealer just for those washers. never had a leak.

Get a pair of pliers, hold the washer and unscrew. Usually I can remove it with a flathead per above.

Dealer has been charging me a buck each. If I spend $60+ on Redline oil and a filter then an extra dollar doesn't mean much. Yeah, I know its the principle of paying 3x the price for a little copper ring.

Ripoff? I stopped in at Cerritos Nissan and bought 2 and I think they were $1.50 a piece?
