Nice!

I was hoping for a bit more power up top, but significant gains through the powerband is even better. One clarification, the pre LTH setup has still headers and F.I. HFC's right? The chart doesn't mention aftermarket headers.

On the last car we made more top end power. The only difference is that it did not have any intakes on it at all. I am just saying...

On your other question, correct in the first dyno session there were stock manifolds on the car. NO headers!

I gotcha, so the intakes help a bit with the top end power, from what everyone is saying that's the only place they help 7000 or above. Looking forward to more dynographs...

Yes & no.
I do not want to derail the thread, but it seems intake (even with a minor tune) are not playing a big roll. A lot of factors though, better fuel (93 octane), unlock VVEL, intake A or B. Intakes by themselves are good performance numbers, but paired with other items they seemed to not help, currently. Hopefully down the road we will see some improvements, but maybe not.

Love the results Tony, hope things are going well and you can finish up and start full production soon.

Hopefully by the end of today we will have the driver side completely indexed and ready to go. It has taken 3 full days of work just to get the bend perfect. On to the passenger side as soon as we are done. With any luck, I will have some sets in the mail by the end of next week. I will also post pictures of the production headers as soon as they are ready.

In addition I will be adding everything pertaining to these to our website.

Good luck with the new job, hope you can get them soon and enjoy them.
Maybe by then we can find a nice loophole for you with the state inspection.

Can't wait, keep the info coming Tony. I'm going to hold of on intakes, I just can justify it, especially since I hope on going S/C down the line. I'm going to match the LTH's up with stock exhaust, in case anyone wants to hear what it sounds like, hopefully I'll pick up a CBE soon after, especially if Tony offers me an awesome deal.

We might have something in the works as far as a cold air intake system. It is very preliminary and Dan and I were only discussing it this morning. However, if it works you will love it. Right now all the details are ultra top secret but I told you I would keep you informed before you left yesterday.
Thanks, Tony

Why didn't anyone get excited about this?

Tony, let me go ahead and put a deposit on your intakes! lol

I will be #1 on the FI Intake buy list for sure!

:happydance:

This might be a useless post but how is the 0-60 time with the headers haha

vipor 03-25-2010 08:19 AM

Show me some sweet intakes to dissuade me from getting G3's. Don't be like AEM and eff up my sprayer bottle either. Gogogo
