So you should have some good gains. I think, and FIs thread shows i too, that even though the HFCs should get you 15 and the CBE should get you 15 and the G3 should get you 15, that the first mod wether its the CAI, HFC, or CBE will get you that gain, but I think all the mods after that only net a few each. Fi showed that when they dynod their HFC with a CBE on already and only got about 3 hp. So I think the first mod opens things up good and the following mods only net a few. Id love to see a dyno of all three without any other mods to see what they do and then add a mod, dyno again until you have all three on and see what the final results would be.

This. I'm wondering if putting HFC's on my Nismo will even be worth it. It is a lot less expensive and intrusive than intakes or replacing the full exhaust though.

You already have an upgraded Nismo exhaust and a tuned ECU. You could do an intake, headers and/or HFC, but if you follow the theory that the first intake/exhaust mod you do will net the most results, then successive ones by small increments only...not sure how much you would gain +/- re-tuning your ECU. It will improve the breathing and clear up your exhaust path though. Interested to be the first to try it out on a Nismo Z?

First to try HFC's on a Nismo, or the ERZ HFC's specifically? Someone else with a Nismo has got to have HFC's already... I'm tempted to buy HFC's just for the sound, but I'm waiting on my coilovers and don't want to have too many mods in progress at the same time. Also, I couldn't really do a good dyno comparison since my car isn't past the engine break-in period.
