Hey Tony,

Called and left a message with you guys last week. I understand how busy you guys are - so I figured since I have not heard back, that I would throw some of my questions here.

I am shopping around for an exhaust set up, and I would maybe like to order your LTHs with the Catback exhaust. (Pricing shipped to 33021 if that's possible)

Also, a few questions if you have time:

- I would like to review install instructions for the LTHs. Could you please e-mail them to me (CharlesPodesta@comcast.net)

- I live in South Florida and was hoping you had a shop in this area you would HIGHLY Recomend. I've herd a lot of horror stories about Steering Linkage and 02 sensors..... All which, I would like to avoid.

- How likely is it for there to be complications with 02 sensors, and what would be the consequences of that.... IE additional costs of a dealership having to fix them.

Thanks for your help.

- Charles

also it may be better to consult with your regional section of the forum for a recommendation of a quality shop.

Charles,

Thank you for the inquiry. I returned your call and left you a message yesterday after lunch time PST. I still have your phone number sitting in front of me. I can call you back or you can give me a call. Either way works for me. Just let me know.

Thanks, Tony

Just saw the message, and sorry I missed your call back.

I'm going to be stuck in the office for the rest of the day....

I'll try and give you guys a call tomorrow afternoon - or you guys can call me if you're free.

Basically, I should be available tomorrow - Thanks for getting back to me.

I do not want to bother you today if you are busy in meetings. If I have not heard from you tomorrow by lunch tome (west coast) I will give you a ring.

Thanks, Tony

The problem with the O2 sensors. If the installer uses an air impact gun on the bolting. The vibrations from it can and will hurt the sensors. So they have to remove them before unbolting anything. The other thing is when they lengthen the wiring for the sensors. Is that they reconnect the right wires and have a good soldier job on them. I have yet to throw a code of any type.

The steering shaft only goes on one way as it is spined, and has an offset in one of the spines. My problem was the sensor on the rack and pinion had to be reset by the dealer. Which they never charged me for. This was the only way to get the traction control light out.

You might remeber me from our conversation by email. I am Yuriy from Ukraine. Trying to get in touch with you, but probably you're busy. Just in case if you see this post first, I want to process order of LHE. Please email back on translitstyle@gmail.com

Guy's sorry for breaking in without proper introduction, will do at first opportunity.

Sales@F.I. Inc. 02-28-2013 11:19 AM

Good morning guys! Just wanted to make a little post to introduce myself, my name is Blake and I am the newest addition to F.I. Inc. I have known Tony and Danny for quite some time, ever since I purchased my CBE/TPs from them for my G37. Believe it or not I actually had the first set of CF mufflers ever! Well times changed and I moved on from my G37, and got out of the car scene for a little while. Fast forward a few years and I picked up a 370Z.. I had not talked to Tony in a while however we still had a good relationship. I jumped on the forums and PMd Tony for a price on an CF CBE, and TPs. We got to talking and long story short, my car was chosen as the prototype TT car. :happydance: While we were going through the paces on the TT kit, we (Tony, Danny, and I) started talking about a job opportunity. I have always had a passion for cars, and ultimately knew I wanted to be in this industry however easier said than done just walking away from a job that was paying me well. I went through some injuries and personal things and actually ended up more or less losing my job because of these issues. Some time had gone on since we had discussed the possible job, but when speaking with Tony I asked him if the offer is still on the table to bring me in for sales/marketing and shipping/receiving. After some talking to ensure we were all on the same page they decided to bring me in! I am very excited to be here and look forward to being able to provide as much support for you guys as possible. I am being brought up to speed as quickly as possible and hope to be able to answer ANYTHING you can throw at me shortly. I will also do my best to bring the updated build/ship list back in the near future as I know how much everyone appreciated that. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me directly and I will do my best to personally answer it.

Thank you, Blake

ColdFire 02-28-2013 02:40 PM

Welcome Blake you must be lucky
1) Your car was chosen as the TT prototype
2) Your working with one of the best companies in the industry
Wish you all the best and for me the decision of LTH and CBE was made on the spot. when you see a long list of orders you will know for sure that FI has something special to offer. :tiphat:

Thank you!! I have to be agree I have had some luck on my side. I am definitely very excited to be here. I hope to continue to help build the reputation F.I. Inc has already become known for. You made the right choice on your LTHs and CBE!

SPOHN 02-28-2013 06:54 PM

Ok, spill the beans. What is FI's next set of plans beyond the TT kit?

My guess is a mounting system for attaching small jet engines to the rear of the FI catback system.

So I just found out the wait is 12-15 weeks. I guess I will poke around the forum first to see if anyone has them for sale. At first I was gonna order the FI exhaust too but on second thought I really wanna wait and see how ark grip matches with FI LTHs. If I do get them sooner than later Ill make sure to post little review along with some videos.

It must have changed, when I ordered mine a month ago it was 6-8 week turn around time on headers and 10-12 weeks on the exhaust. Glad I ordered both when I did, because it seems like they are getting real busy right now! Everyone is buying with tax return money I guess.

fryzia23 04-17-2013 03:30 PM

Yeah exactly, I've been told they have big increase in orders. I decided that I'm gonna order LTHs and patiently wait for them to arrive. I could probably wait for something to come up around the forum, but I like to get stuff brand new and have a peace of mind of any surprises that could come up especially when it comes to used parts :)

Is the turn around time still 12-15 weeks for these?

I am pretty sure it still is. Order mine in early June and still have a couple of months to go. But check with Tony to be certain.

You should also use the new thread, it is more active:

That thread is for the CBE's. This thread is for the LTH's. :D

This is what the LTH's, 12" resonators, and CBE sounds like. :D I had the mike taped to the license plate. ;)
