They will not fit without serious modification to the right hand side. For you that would be the driver side.

Our test pipes and HFC's will fit without an issue though.

Thanks, Tony

Rooskey 02-25-2011 09:45 PM

I have had my installed for about 500 miles or so and everything is good. Lots of power gain from 5 to 75 rpms. I will hopefully be at the dyno within two weeks to see how they measure up across the board. Has anyone had to get warranty work done on there cars since installing the headers? If so how did that turn out? Thanks

Depending on the dealership they probably will not even notice, it also depends on what warranty work you have done.

Actually no because the tech's at a dealership are not suppose to get on the cars ever, unless it is my tech at Baker and then he likes to redline my car. :p

I was thinking more at startup... My car will set off alarms all over the place when I start it... lol Kinda funny but at the same time really annoying cause if your alarm goes off, just makes me wanna smash your window in to cut the power to it... :shakes head:

theDreamer 02-26-2011 04:09 PM

Ah, that is true.
I am sure my neighbors hate me early in the morning. Especially when I had a loaner car for a week or so and then on a Monday morning at 7AM the whole neighborhood got a wake up call. :p

That's awesome. There's a guy across the street in our neighborhood w/a really sweet custom chopper that's insanely loud and he seems to just ride around pissing the whole street off (or at least me and my wife). It'll be payback time soon....:happydance:

Geez, I just realized I was #47 for the exhaust & #44 for the headers. Almost the same lol

What exhaust are you going to run? I actually installed mine originally with the stock cat-back and it sounded very exotic!!

I'm sure it sound even more exotic with the F.I. Exhaust tho ;)

NewYorkJon34 02-28-2011 08:03 PM

So jnaut, how much faster did the car feel with the added torque from the headers vs. without them?

As for "seat of the pants" idk haha, i feel it is a piece of the puzzle to make it a complete package. like most say you get the most with you first couple mods, but you wont be dissapointed forsure!!

Holy loud batman!! :driving:

XwChriswX 02-28-2011 08:10 PM

The headers definitely open up the exhaust to the point it helps the engine rev a lot quicker. It gives it a slightly higher pitch vs stock or HFCs. The famous F.I. hiss sounds even more pronounced to me now. You do feel seat of the pants gains, but the total gains won't be realized till you get a tune to incorporate all your mods into the ECU. That's when you'll get the final, complete picture.

jnaut 02-28-2011 08:11 PM

i can say this is this i have mostly the same mods as everybody else on the forum except for these longtubes, and i make power all the way to 8k rpm so i would think that the LT part of this reason.

It was my wife's idea (not kidding). She's a track junkie and we wanted the freest flowing most powerful setup we could get (+lightest weight).

We might get an additional xpipe from Tony at a later date to run inbetween track days if the sound is just too much for us. We'll see, when I talked to tony I asked if it'd be louder than a Viper with headers and TP's and he said no and that car (one of our friends) isn't loud imo.

XwChriswX 02-28-2011 08:17 PM

The only reason I will ever take the LT's off my car is when I go TT. 'Nuff Said.

One_Quick_Z 03-14-2011 10:22 PM

Any updates Tony? These are the only parts that I am waiting on to start doing the installs. I cant wait!!!

Just look at it like this guys, if Tony's not updating the list... that means he's busy building exhausts!

But in reality, it's after 9pm PT so the shops closed, wouldn't expect any word till tomorrow at the earliest. Try to be patient lol
