I'm glad I decided against this exhaust though. I don't think it would last for one winter where I'm from.

You seem to be happy with it for the price, so you can't go wrong with that.
Yea that's my guess as well, painted tips. I cant speak much about other experience with other exhaust but yea im pretty happy with it. The sound is great for what you get, and the way they come out of the bottom look awesome.
