I have had the 18" resonated CBE + RHFC for a few weeks now. While waiting I was concerned that it might be too quiet, since all that I have read here was giving me that impression, but for ME, it's perfect. Wouldn't want it any louder to be honest. About an hours drive in the car with my girlfriend, she admitted she was a bit fatigued from the sound. Do note, this was city driving, stop and go - not cruising.

Would I still like it if it was louder ? Probably.

I'm fairly conservative....

So I kept the stock cats and went with the 18" res option.... after about a month of use, it just seems a lot quieter/maybe it's me. It's almost stock sounding above 4k rpms unless maybe at full throttle, and even so, it's seems about only 20% louder than stock at best.

So now I'm entertaining HF resonated cats ($700) vs. non res x pipe ($???) (if you had to pick just one), which is probably going to be a low rpm drone vs. high rpm fun decision.

Just wish it was a Porsche flat six...

For $700 I would go with Motordyne ART pipes. They're slightly cheaper and seem to be yield the best hp/tq and cleanest sound
