Congrats on the Nismo! i also have an 11' Nismo iv been looking around for a intake for a while now myself and iv pretty much narrowed it down to either the Nismo R-Tune Cold Air Intake or the Stillen G3 intakes. with the Stillen intakes you have to chop up the fiberglass core support but with the Nismo intakes you have to relocate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Both have solid dyno results and its pretty much down to pure preference of which you would like better and what kind of modifications your comfortable doing in the engine bay. im personally going with the Nismo intakes due to the fact that moving the windshield washer reservoir is much easier and reversible compared grinding at the core support with the stillens. Also, the Nismo R-tune Intakes are only available on 09-11 models making them kind of special for our cars if your interested in looks i also prefer how the Nismo intakes look over the stillens. seeing the nismo badge on the intakes some how feels extremely satisfactory going along with the other nismo badges under the hood. it just seems right if your on a budget, the nismo intakes are a little more than the stillens.

Nismo R-tune Intakes:

Stillen Intakes:

I hope this helps!

I would go with either the stillen, which is a tired and proven choice that I personally use on mine, or the z1. These seem to be the best setups making the best power gains. The z1 doesn't require you to cut into the core support and its a bit cheaper. With that being said "cutting" into the core support is easy and it can be covered up if you choose to go back to stock and sell the car later.

Not sure if it's a price change or just reduced for a limited time, but Stillen and a few others are offering the Gen 3 intake for $495 with free shipping.

Anyone know of a reliable place to buy the Nismo type R? The link above has 2 bad reviews and everywhere else I see it priced like $650. One dealer I asked said it was discontinued???

Z1 seems to be the only reliable place that i found that sells the R-Tune Intake. They also seem to be the only place that includes mounting hardware to relocate the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

Just don't buy a short ram intake. Either relocate the filters outside of the engine bay (Stillen, Z1, etc) or go with MAF tubes and drop-ins. CAIs will require you to pul the bumper to clean the filters. It's really quick after the first time you do it, but it's a deal breaker for some people.

I had the Stillen Gen III on my previous Z and now have the Z1 on my current Nismo. Completely satisfied with both...

I have a '11 Nismo too. I went with the Stillen 3G. Look through my build thread for ideas.
