Compared to mine, it's looks about right. I did use the washers that came with the kit to adjust the height to even out both tails. I ordered the tails

Compared to mine, it's looks about right. I did use the washers that came with the kit to adjust the height to even out both tails. I ordered the tails with titanium tips so it probably doesn't look as bad as polished tips with them sticking out further than OEM. I agree these do stick out further then OEM, but with me having the titanium tips I prefer the look. Here's a couple of pictures to compare to yours:
