Default tweaking the OEM exhaust

Hey from over the pond in Scotland!
Ive had my 370 for around a year and I'm looking to get more sound from the exhaust.
i initially took out the mid silencers which made the car sound great. then i added berks hfc and the car exhaust tone was marmite. a lot of people loved it and said it sounded like an italian sports car. i liked it but after a while it was a bit too loud.
so now i put both id silencers back in and i still have the hfc but the cars now silent! its going back in to get one mid silencer out lol.

anyways i just came across this x mod and mid pipe and this may be the way forward for me since i like the stock tone but its just too quiet!
what is the washer mod that people are talking about? I've seen videos of it but not actually figured out what the mod is.

many thanks

Look up washer mod, is putting a washer to create a gap between the exhaust flange. This gives a spot for some sound (and exhaust) to get out before going to the silencers (mufflers).

hey,
thanks for the reply. is it the flange that goes into the back box? or all of them? also does it not create a blown noise like when an exhaust is broken a bit? lastly will it be okay corrosion wise since any gasses leaking may corrode the pipe?
thanks

washer mod is a terrible idea lol

it sounds like a crappy exhaust leak... because that's all it is

it will leak exhaust gases into the cabin - I dunno about corrosion but I wouldn't be surprised if it is an issue as well
