ATI Damper Group Buy from MA Motorsports

Ok. So... My car doesn't help you. I changed too many mods at once, but I threw it on... It's there... Lol... It's much heavier than stock, so I can't

It's much heavier than stock, so I can't see it helping throttle response...

But your crank and oil pump will thank you.

I'm still waiting for my foot to heal up before I install mine.

On my car with full aluminum engine mounts and transmission mount it is night and day difference. At least 80% of the vibration is gone. It's not that you can't notice it on a car with OE mounts, it's the rubber that absorbs most of it.

Nope. Idle on my car is great. I am running the Stillen lightweight pulley and was interested to know if changing pulleys was worth the investment.

I appreciate the feedback from everyone.

It's a hell of a lot heavier than OEM, sooooo... You'll be losing some throttle response, that's for sure

Yep. That was my guess, but I was just asking to understand personal experiences.

I understand it is a trade-off of potential improved engine longevity versus lightweight pulley with improved throttle response. Since I am at 24k mi and driving a 2010, I will just stick with the lightweight pulley. Longevity should not be a problem for me!!

I tell you. My car still rumbles to hell at stops (semi-solid mounts from the engine back on a 7AT don't mesh well) and it still rumbles to hell with the ATI pulley. Soooooo, didn't do a whole hell of a lot for me...

That said, I had the Stillen UD pulley, loved it, and I would've left it on... Maybe next time I'm bored I'll even throw it back on, lol. I've clocked a lot of miles with the Stillen pulley with no problems. I've had my engine out a couple times, compression tests, etc, no problems...

I don't want this to turn into a thread arguing lightweight vs dampened though.

Oh, I think most of my vibration comes from the idle being too low as well. If I touch the gas while on the brakes, it's all gone

You can fix that with tuning. Its not meant to give you HP that throws you in your seats. If you look at racing teams noone uses lightweight pulleys. They all use some type of harmonic damper.

I am pretty sure I am going to put together another group buy on these, is there enough interest for this?
