I was fully 'bolted' and then went 'boosted'. There is no comparison

Why not, get a damn Miata for 1000 bucks as a DD, and boost the Z, its more then likely that nothing will happen to the car unless you have a **** TUNER.

It also boiled down to money as well. To me,if I'm going to do boost,I'm going to do it right. All the proper supporting mods plus having somebody install it for me along with aftermarket clutch and a better dif was and still is too much for me at this time. That would break my savings account and I'm not too keen on putting a lot of things on credit!
Boost is in the future for me,but until then,NA is where it's at for me.

This advice applies for NO2 as well.

Before this goes much farther.
-When you said, not to much for force induction please define that budget for us.

After that you can determine if you can even enter the boost world.
Also consider, some upgrade you do while NA can carry over into the boost world while others do not. So if you ever want a TT/SC look forward at what you should buy or maybe skip buying as you will just be replacing it and eating the cost.

My budget is around 6k to 8k and if need be 10k. I would prefer to stay between 6 to 8.

Then you flat out cannot afford boost. Whatever kit you buy, assume half again the cost of the kit in supporting mods.

6 to 8k is the starting price, you can get a BP turbo kit and a few extras and probably get away with 8k but to set the car up right for a few track events and safety you will need to be in the 9-11k range.

By the time you pay shipping and PayPal fees the BP kit is basically 8k.
