AAM Twin Turbo kit

Being that they quoted 10 hours is the sign that they have not put twin turbos on one of these cars before. A quick run through in your head, and it certainly sounds and feels like you could do it in 10 hours. About 10 hours in, you will realize you are not even halfway done.

That isnt always a bad thing though, as long as they are very competent and cautious. Matter of fact, come to think of it... the competent and cautious part is probably more important than the Z/G experience. There have been plenty of first-timers that did it right, and plenty of repeat offenders blowing engines!

Brace yourself to cover double that labor.

There have even been shade tree installs done on jack stands that have run fine.

Yep. It all depends on if you run away screaming if step one of the install is "Remove motor and transmission".

If not, go for it. Otherwise, farm it out. It's not a job for "I think I can handle it. How hard can it be?"

10 hours seems very unrealistic. Like chuck said, GTM took about 30 hours including TT install and supporting mods.
