It's very much so possible Ryan. I understand what you're saying I think that most people think that the convenience items (I.e. built in BoVs, speed sensors, and internal gates) are the only way you can go with these turbos; when in reality they can be modified for all of the traditional turbocharged "creature items". There are options to build a recirc system in the charge piping as you are understanding. Personally I would say its kind of one of those "six-half dozen-another" deals to either cut two holes in your charge piping and weld to flanges plus purchase external charge air valves or do as such tony did and grind the clearance for what you need to make the aftermarket designed iteration of their rapid vent and bolt them right in place of the current factory vent. Personally, it's kinda nice to have seen what tony has done and pulled off here because its showing us once again that there are plenty of aftermarket support for these turbos just as a traditional PTE or Garrett turbocharger has.
