Honestly, it was not harsh enough... There have been many times where I have spoken up to help others in the community just to be hit with this kind of disrespect... This is not a bitch session thread... This is a thread for people to discuss their dealings with GTM and to get help...

I will not stand for animosity towards members attempting to help others. On the other hand if you want to step in and be unproductive then do it in an off topic thread where it is designed to be that outlet... This is not an off topic thread...

There is No help to be gotten here with gtm, it's done and over when they took peoples money knowing they were going to file for bankruptcy.. What gets me is they all of the sudden have resources to up and move and also have the ability to have their parts that have failed remanufactured .. Bunch of negative nancys in here.... I don't feel as if Bullitt is taking up for GTM. He seems to be giving out useful information. Just because he hasn't lit the torches and marched with his pitchfork, he's defending them? I really don't think anyone on this forum is happy with GTM right now, but don't take it out on someone who is providing a little insight of whats going on.

Not only that, but if you used proper reading comprehension you would have read that last section of the quote: "from what I am told" this is not my opinion but rather the forward of information to the masses from what someone else communicated to me...

The second quote you used is out of context of the conversation where I was giving my business opinion on how long it would take for them to get their business back up and running after they had downsized and gotten to a survivable environment. This was all hypothetical and in context makes sense...

But then again why should I expect you to understand this.... You have proven the inability to discern the transmission of facts from nut hugging....

I have spent more time and money than most with GTM... I also have a good bit of money/products owed to me as well...

So get off my nuts! If you do not have anything constructive to say to help people in this situation then shut the F up! We don't need your ignorant banter when it does nothing but stir the pot. Go troll my350z or some other board...

I talk to him all the time. Hopefully he will have the stroker ready to ship in less than a month. Yes there have been setbacks.
But make no mistake GTM will make a comeback.
A lot smaller but he intends to make every thing right over time.

A machine shop in town here just did a 4.0L or 4.3L (cant remember which size) VHR stroker for a non-forum-member I know. Took them about 8-10 weeks with delays in backordered main bearings from ACL and the first set of pistons being the wrong pistons. Cost him less than $10,000 for the entire short block said and done and assembled ready and waiting for heads.

The customer paid around $5000-6000 up front for the parts, then the bill for the machine work, assembly, etc at time of delivery.
