I keep reading threads both new and old of people with the same kit, 9lb pulley test pipes etc making 9-10psi boost. I don't understand why we are loosing 2 psi. There are no boost leaks so I am very confused. Can anyone shine some light on this for me or point me in the right direction?
This might be apples to oranges here, but my past turbo cars (Audi/VW) would vary 1-4 psi depending on weather conditions. When it was hot outside (80-90deg F) I could hit 24psi but when it was cooler than that it could go down to 19psi. Same power output but less boost. I've never owned a supercharged car so this may be irrelevant but remember it takes less boost to make the same power with cooler air

I should be hitting 11psi with my setup but only see 9.75psi. I think it's the test pipes. I think the stock cats will give you better low/mid range power but less at higher rpms.

Problem will be how often will the cats need to be replaced.

Will be talking to my tuner about this next time I'm in.

What happened with this?
Also not sure you saw this but:

By Nism0-40th Anniversary SC
Current Setup:
Stillen Supercharger Kit
550cc injectors
Berk Test Pipes
CNT Cat Back Exhaust
Aeromotive Stealth 355lph Fuel Pump

400rwhp/340ftlb of torque @ 7psi

Stillen reply :
would advise going back to stock cats. We have seen significant power drops when using HFC's and Test Pipes with our supercharger.
