+1 (as I see it) Stillen might have a hard time getting the car to run right with the 2 MAFs on the same charge tube.... I mean I stand for correction if I'm wrong but don't banks 1 & 2 generally get different data readings and voltages respectively? How can these variables ever be safely tuned out of what the (already sensitive) ECU wants to see?

so back to the very serious issue of oil cooling... where is it, please ? i've instructed liquidz's avatar to keep doing push ups until we get a satisfactory answer! lol
In my own opinion the problem with Stillen intake is lot bigger then the look of it, It will hinder the performance of the car period .

Indeed.

Can you give me the basics of how the bigger intake will hurt?

Obsolutely, I have no idea what they were thinking. I will leave it at that for now .

There will be a time and a place for all the factual technical discussions, you can count on it .

Sam is clearly an expert on these platforms, I am very excited to see what he has to say about the stillen system. For me I dont like the water/air cooling system on the stillen.... Im a fan of the Air/Air systems... Then combined with the intake actually housing the cooling fins with water running through it... I just dont like it...... It sounds like trouble waiting to happen.

It seems to me like GTM has the ideal SC setup of the two. However, they are a fair amount further along in the process than Stillen is at this point so I will keep my mouth shut (mostly) until we see numbers from both.

^^^Well, Stillen really doesn't have the best reputation with the VQ35DE guys/gals... It seems like everyone ditches their systems(S/C)...

I haven't seen that yet with GTM products

Travis below is your answer and please don't start the conspiracy theory lol.

I know this is the GTM thread, but why is everyone ripping apart the stillen kit, before seeing final numbers & tests?

i guess the reputation precedes the product........ *^^* as such, the PERCEIVED quality of the brand name and the product dictates the market value....

i, for one, cannot speak from my personal experience, but from gathering info from forums, ppl dont seem to have any problem w GTM...........

If you have ever witnessed a Kenne Bell vs, whipple war on a mustang forum you know what this could turn into so lets just stop with the stillen comments now. I mean i'm all for starting trouble but it isn't worth it this time.
