Default Electronic Boost Controller

Hi.

For those of you who installed EBC did you guys wired it up with RPM signal?

I tried to search for RPM signal for this car in the forum but didn't find anything so I thought its time to make a thread.

Please share what boost controller you installed and if you wired it with rpm signal or not.

I would really appreciate it if somebody guide me how to reach RPM signal.

You only need the RPM signal if you are going to run RPM based boost control, if you are just planning on using it has a regular EBC then you don't need to hook it up.

Which boost controller are you running by the way?

right now im thinking of Turbosmart eboost 2 but I want to wire it with RPM to get the most out of EBC

Yes pin 14.

I missed it when I copy and pasted from the PDF that I linked to. Sorry about that.

I have the HKS EVC-s.

Tony at Fast Intentions swears by the Turbo Smart electronic boost controller. Sasha at Boosted Performance likes it too.

Innovate Motorsports was showing a sweet boost controller multi gauge at SEMA, but they don't have an ETA for it yet.
