cool, my bad, i thought you started the thread to be more constructive with plans... it was cool and informative to initially read through the posts and see what ppl are doing with waste gates and other supporting mods... but you did include a statement to ask ppl about their status on their refunds...

in my defense, it just started to get frustrating when everyone is beating a dead horse and bringing up that guam story... which is ********...

I dont blame you, it frustrates me to see all that as well, but I guess thats what happens sometimes. Its unfortunate that this all has to happen to so many people, but apparently thats how gtm does business. This thread wasn't made to turn out like this, but several people including me are having a poor experience with gtm, so its good to have this information available for everyone ya know?

It was great to read what everyone was gonna do with their setup. Sure was. Until so much time passed AGAIN there was nyttin left to add! Beating a dead horse? What were they supposed to do? Talk about what they were gonna do with their set up AGAIN?

in hindsight from my initial post, i take back the stuff about the refunds and have agreed with u and OP that everyone need to share their frustration about the refunds... everyone should and continue to do so because that is unacceptable but more importantly it is helpful with the group buy participants...

funny enough me complaining about clutter is clutter in itself... LOL .. so back on topic

Oooor if there is nothing to talk about they could just not post more off topic crap, once you've said what you had to say you could just get on with your life, just a thought. The refund stuff is relevant but seeing as how this is a "Group buy participants" thread and there is like 10 pages of posts by the same people who were told to stay the **** out of the other thread maybe some of you need to exercise a little self control.

Example the cracked manifold stuff, Greddy is known for having manifold issues too, in fact any mass produced turbo kit with cast manifolds has issues, but that is the old kit, there is no evidence either way as to what the all new manifolds will be like so instead of negative speculation why not just wait and see. If the old manifolds had that big of an issue maybe they fixed it in the new ones. Even the current TT kit, just following the review and install threads it used to have fitment issues on the first kits, but now most of the shops installing it say it fits great, and now that they are using a mandrel bender, it's hard to think of a way that it wont since every pipe should be exactly the same as every other one. I had one of the first GTM oil cooler kits when they had an issue with their supplier of the lines, it failed, I had premium crimped lines made at a race shop(which cost more than the kit itself) after one phone call Sam sent me a check for the new lines, and when my motor blew he offered to pay to replace it. Since then, they fixed the lines and you never hear about it since. For as much bad as GTM has done look at the good they do for this platform. They are having issues producing the new kit, it's a very large order and is probably affecting the rest of the business right now (It takes ten **** tons off effort and investment to do something on this scale and it has probably strained them and backed everything else up), but all of the posts keep coming back to three issues, the release date gave out now was a bad guess, the slow refunds to a few people, and the lack of forum communication (but since everything they post now gets ripped to shreds why would they). People have called for updates and posted it here, and there is proof they are still working on the orders. I can't tell the people who have paid what they should do with their money ultimately it's thier call and I hope for the best for everyone still involved in the group buy.

Edit: I talked to Sam recently and they are the only guys I know of that have imported the RHD steering parts and actually built their kit to work on both LHD, RHD, 6MT, and AT cars right from the get go, If you get into a long conversation about this new kit with him there is so much cool **** going on here it is just crazy and with the free upgrades which are probably worth quite a bit it seems like they are trying to make the kit well worth the wait. Again just my opinion, and the things I have heard, those in the group buy shouldn't let anyone tell them what they should do with their money.
