How was the installation? How long did it take you to do it? On the scale 1 to 10, what would you rate the difficulty to install this kit at?

Hardest part was removing the demon bolts and aligning the turbo. If I did not have to align the turbo and remove the demon bolts, the install would of been a 4 out of 10. The install took around 90 hours including the installation of gauges. Key thing is patience and tolerating the fact that you have to run back to the hardware store multiple times. The GTM kit will be more difficult because of space constraints and you will have to deal with the steering knuckle. Go with the GTM kit if you want twins and if you are willing to wait. Go with the BP kit if you don't want to wait and you will have a lot less headaches with the install. Quality wise, I truly believe BP has GTM beat when it comes to quality. So far no one has had cracking issues with the twin scroll headers. Last edited by Cell; 01-01-2014 at 10:44 PM. |
