sooo, i'm highly doubting i'll get to fire the car this week. I was trying hard to make it to a sponsorship selection meet this weekend but i still have no oil cooler. so unless it gets overnighted tomorrow(which I don't want to pay for) i've got to wait till next week. but i decided while the car is apart to take advantage..
build continues tomorrow, hope to have most of the supercharger lines routed, filter, tank, etc done. my intakes and FMIC will be back friday, so I can continue reinstalling stuff till i get to the point i need it.

I agree! My friend Austin did them for me. It was one thing I always disliked about the look of the car stock, and he said hey lets do em while the bumper is off.. so I gave in lol.. Can't wait to get them on the car.

Thermal dispersant coated... supposed to let more heat out than normal... now that I think about it, I wish I did the radiator, headers, etc. We'll see how well it works to keep the IATs down

bit of an update... had a lil bit of fitment issues with the intercooler and the front crash bar. just barely touches the bar. cut out the radiator supports for the intakes, finished up running the oil lines for the supercharger..
still though, no oil cooler and its starting to get frustrating. i'll call Sam again tomorrow morning.. i paid for 2day shipping on friday, and it still hasn't been shipped. hopefully he'll overnight it to me to make up for the troubles.. had to yank the headlights again to be able to tighten the clamps on the hump hoses, and had to cut part of the fender liner to get the piping that connects the blower to the intercooler to fit. gonna try and get the header thrown back in tomorrow morning, intakes installed (except still waiting on the red throttle body couplings, received orange couplings instead of red.. had to re order) then try and finish my oil filter relocation stuff in hopes that my oil cooler kit will be here thursday or friday.. we'll see..

Sorry about your troubles with GTM, but your own the home stretch and this is a very solid kit. It's going to be a blast!

BPV, header / art pipe, and oil filter relo to finish tomorrow.. waiting on red couplers for the intakes, and gotta finish some wiring but if Sam sends me my supercharged ROM to load, she'll fire this weekend ![]()

Hey man you will definitely still need the oil cooler even in 55 degree temps. Good luck with GTM

Damn. Lol thanks for the heads up man.
Guess I'll just wait it out.. getting impatient but rather be safe than sorry and have to rip the front end apart again

Terribleone is right. I would consider 34 row a minimum for boosted cars after watching my temps. With two 19 rows (thermistatic) and GTM radiator with upgraded fans, it dissapates heat in a similar manner to a bolt on Z with a large oil cooler. This is using the stock bumper of course. If I did it again, I would have jumped on twin 25's instead (if they fit).

Wow... is that in hot Vegas heat though? I went with the oil cooler add on kit for the supercharger kit. Comes with a Setrab 25 row, lines, Mocal in-line thermostat and the necessary brackets, etc. The 34 row won't fit on the side with the supercharger oil cooler.. maybe I'll have to add a 19 row in conjunction with the 25row like I believe Martin is doing on his track car..
I really hope I don't have heat issues.. with bolt ons, the car would reach 240ish only if pushed very very hard in the canyons / twisties in 75+ degree heat

Yeah, but that was before you stuffed an intercooler in front of the radiator in a car with very little frontal area. Go bigger on cooling than you think you need.
