Can we start another thread in the off-topic forum where we discuss the differences between turbos, the big three, and make fun of Dzel's IQ?

I know how you feel and your more than welcome to question anything when spending your money. Mike is terribly busy especially with Sam gone. I did speak to Mike and he stated what I said hence why I upgraded my turbos already. So again and I don't think anyone knows this but they do not check this forum regularly. The only time they do is when one of THE AWESOME 3!!! calls them and tells them they need to check it out. So please call them with your questions.

(Yeah that's right we're a super hero group)

I'm not in the MHI group buy, but I have been following the thread for awhile. I just wanted to stop in and say that I hope that you have a speedy recovery and I wish the best for you and your family.

Sam@GTM, I'm glad to hear you're on the road to recovery and hopefully this is the only reoccurring. Thank you and Mike@GTM for the patience and understanding with all of the contacts and update requests for this group buy.

I've never bought from GTM before. I've never even heard of GTM until I bought my Z. But to see what you guys are doing by giving the Garrett ball bearing turbos as a no-cost upgrade as a reward for sticking it out in this group buy definitely gives me confidence I made the right choice to go with GTM. So I appreciate this upgrade and I don't mind waiting more for things fall into place in the best interest of all.

Sam@GTM, have a speedy recovery!

Same ^^ I never changed my decision and wasn't hesitant over the Date Schedule. Things happen for a reason, Patience Is Key. Just my two cents

What housing you went for? T25+ or T25?

Mike told me it was fine to pair up the internal wastegate setup with my F.I 2.5" Non- Resd T.P and CF CBE butI'm afraid of boost creep so idk if I should upgrade to 3" exhaust or go external with my exhaust setup????? Some Info would be appreciated, Thanks!

Did Mike think boost creep would be an issue with that setup? I'm planning on running basically the same thing:

GT2860RS 0.84 A/R
Internal wastegates
GTM test pipes
FI 2.5" CBE (12" res)

Mine Non Resd straight through from T.P through CBE that's why I chose the exhaust for this turbo setup but Im still in that debate because NUNBERS is important and mating a 3" downpipe from EW to a 2.5" cbe wont that restrict flow/power? (Or whatever its called)

*also mike told me that wasn't gonna be an issue with the "18G" turbos and I'm assuminh neither with those but I rather want to avoid it if I can no?

you wont get boost creep with the .86 AR (stage 2). originally I had .64 AR (stage 1) with internal wastegates and I had trouble running less than 13psi, I got custom 2" restrictor plates made up to put in my exhaust at the time and it worked great, basically adding back pressure prevented exhaust gasses from bypassing the small wastegate opening. I was able to run 10psi on that setup. Now i'm trying to dial in 17psi

Sounds like you are going with the exact same setup as myself

Is anyone else here going to need to have the BOV's recirculated (plumbed back)?

I know that I mentioned this to Mike a while back and he said that they would have an option for it because others had already asked about it but he didn't elaborate on what it would be. I don't believe that the standard Tial Q or Turbosmart Raceport BOV's can be recirculated so I would assume that they will send either the Tial QR or the Turbosmart Plumb Back.

Does anyone know more about this?
