The group buy list counts over 100 entries. Did nobody ever see their order? What went wrong between page 1 and 157 of this thread that the sale stagnated, or, never saw the light of day? *scratching head* |

Not a single kit has shipped yet. You've got a lot of reading to do. Just read the posts from GTM. The rest of the thread is just people bitching about stuff. :rofl2: GTM wildly overestimated their ability to handle something this big, took a bunch of money from people and are currently throwing their suppliers under the bus for the delays. |
ouch.. that's real sad.
And with the Greddy TwinTurbo Kit virtually impossible to get hold of as well, my dreams for a nice TT kit for stock motor are shattered. :shakes head: I don't need/don't want over the top Fast Intentions. |

You save a lot with the install with the BP kit |

You still have to pay shipping and credit card fees for the MHI kit. Plus you'll need to buy an oil cooler which the BP kit includes. I didn't spend much more for the BP kit when it was all said and done. Plus the BP kit is available now. Oh and you can't put a price on the excellent customer service from Sasha. More than makes up for the price difference. Did I mention I still haven't got a refund from GTM? It's been over 6 weeks. |

The group buy on this kit is now closed but you could possibly find someone who is dropping out and take over their place. Im not sure how this would work with shipping to the UK though. This might solve two problems 1) you could get in on the group buy price and 2) the other member actually manages to get their money back without so much screwing around. |

On a slightly different note. A mate took me for laps in his drift car at a practise session earlier this week. If I don't hear anything decent from GTM by Super Bowl Sunday then I will be strongly considering cancelling my order, getting my money back and buying a drift car to start learning in. $10k is more than enough to buy an S13 Silvia to start out in.
There is actually an S13 with a full RB25 and GT2635R conversion for sale here locally. It would be overkill for a complete novice but still awesome to learn in. Decisions.....decisions....... |
20 days! Wow hopefully you will not have to get any creditors or lawyers involved that's a lot of money. That needed to be refunded asap even with all the ropes you have to jump through with the banks and what not 20 days and counting is outrages.
