My friends, my fellow forum members, I really appreciate all the warm wishes and support. This has been a truly life changing experience not only for myself, but also for our company. I feel that I have learned and gained so much out of this experience it has actually taken me and our company to a completely different level. I am very proud of my team and how they have stepped in to cover for me. I am recovering very well and expect nothing but the best from GTM.

On a lighter note, my anesthesia doctor before he put me under, asked me to think about whatever positive thing I want so that when I am under, I will have nice dreams about it. So they put me under anesthesia, cut my skull open and I wake up and my wife had to ask me what was the last thing I was thinking about before I went to sleep. Man, I got in trouble when I told her it was our Turbo Kit. I was being honest, and she didn't like the answer and told me not to repeat the story again. lol

Sam, glad you're back on your feet. Don't push too hard at first. Everybody wants their stuff, but you just dealt with something much bigger than cars and mods. Work your way back into it. My family had to deal with a member having emergency brain surgery years back, and it really shows you how fragile we are. It's terrifying even if you're not the one under the knife.

Welcome back Sam! Glad to hear that you are recovering although it sounds like your wife might be putting you back in the hospital if she ever reads this!

Glad to see you are okay mate, best wishes on the speedy recovery, good to see you can have a laugh still, laughing is the best recovery medicine!

on a business note ;) - can we use the upgraded Garrett turbo's with the oil pan and not having to tap the block?

I read earlier Dzel said good news we can use the oil pan for the garrett turbo's and not have to tap (he said he phoned you guys for the info), paying $62,500 for a car, then $8kish including delivery of a turbo system, would like to hear it from the company itself ;)

Dzel - no discredit to you mate, it's just a large gamble otherwise, I love gambling, but not that big of an investment!

m3chhawk 10-05-2013 12:04 AM

Can we start another thread in the off-topic forum where we discuss the differences between turbos, the big three, and make fun of Dzel's IQ?

Dzel 10-05-2013 09:24 AM

I know how you feel and your more than welcome to question anything when spending your money. Mike is terribly busy especially with Sam gone. I did speak to Mike and he stated what I said hence why I upgraded my turbos already. So again and I don't think anyone knows this but they do not check this forum regularly. The only time they do is when one of THE AWESOME 3!!! calls them and tells them they need to check it out. So please call them with your questions.

(Yeah that's right we're a super hero group)

I'm not in the MHI group buy, but I have been following the thread for awhile. I just wanted to stop in and say that I hope that you have a speedy recovery and I wish the best for you and your family.

:tiphat:

Master_Ly 10-06-2013 01:33 PM

Sam@GTM, I'm glad to hear you're on the road to recovery and hopefully this is the only reoccurring. Thank you and Mike@GTM for the patience and understanding with all of the contacts and update requests for this group buy.

I've never bought from GTM before. I've never even heard of GTM until I bought my Z. But to see what you guys are doing by giving the Garrett ball bearing turbos as a no-cost upgrade as a reward for sticking it out in this group buy definitely gives me confidence I made the right choice to go with GTM. So I appreciate this upgrade and I don't mind waiting more for things fall into place in the best interest of all.

Sam@GTM, have a speedy recovery!
