Haha, you and me both
![]() ![]() That shot of the intercooler, the top where the intake pipes connect to doesn't look like the one in the pictures. I'm really interested in seeing the new exhaust manifold design and if it's going to find it's way in the other TT kits.

Two questions...in the cross section of the oil pan there appears to be trap doors, will this be an option or standard? Also what are the 3 mounting points for on the exhaust manifold? (I'm assuming heat shields). Looking forward to the full release.

As with our current Twin Turbo Kits, there is no issue installing this system on the Nismo. Quote:
Our kits work flawlessly straight out of the box thanks to our experience in designing and tuning forced induction systems on this platform. What you see is what you get. You don’t have to upgrade MAF sensors since our kits come with 3” MAF housings. The competition already made a mistake by going with 2.5” piping and then recently switched to 2.75” piping to prevent the MAF sensors from getting maxed out. We have not had any fuel pressure issues on any of the stock engine turbo setups we’ve ever done. Our goal is to have these kits available and on the shelf. No waiting. So, after stating all the above, why would you consider anything but this kit? The trap doors are standard with the oil pan. The mounting points you are referencing are in fact for heat shields to reduce radiant heat under the hood and keep it where it belongs: in the exhaust. |
