TT or SC ?

Let's say with a VB Upgrade, Trans Cooler and a proper tune.

Some of my thoughts were a SC because of its lower torque would help the Transmission last longer or the TT because when you hit the gas the lag allows your tranny to downshift where the SC would not ??

Your thoughts
Bingo. That is the advantage of the Twin Turbo on an automatic. When you hit the gas in the higher gears, the turbos aren't producing much extra torque and the transmission will downshift to a lower gear. The beauty of that is not only can the lower gears handle more torque, but it puts the engine in the power band for a nice wallop of acceleration.

The Supercharger, on the other hand requires a more attentive driver using manual mode since rolling on the throttle in higher gears will put more torque through the gear before the transmission downshifts in normal mode.

That said, our Valve Body upgrade will really help out with that since the transmission will downshift more readily.

@theDreamer I wrote an article a while back regarding forced induction and automatic transmissions if you would like to add that info into your first post, here is the link: http://www.gtmotorsports.com/Technic...ansmission.pdf
