What if the 7AT transmission wasn't not the weak point when trying to go the Force Induction Route.....At the end of the day I like my 7AT. Time to beef it up.
you must be new here if you think i'm talking ill about the 7AT lol

but you have a point that if the 7AT wasn't a weak point for higher HP (turbo build) then I would have went boost long time ago. but now we have level 10, fast intentions, and others making upgraded tranny's and parts to beef the whole system up.

it's a good time to be in the market for boost with a 7AT

Yes the stick shift is eventually going to go the way of the dodo bird. In 20 years a car with a stick transmission will be special order and only in certain cars. I grew up on a stick it but I more appreciate a quick paddle shift auto honestly. I can't decide whether to drop 20 grand on turbos and an upgraded AT or put 20 grand tour towards a used GTR. Granted a GTR will hold its value but insurance and other costs for the car can add up plus a modified and turboed 370z will be stock GTR on a roll. (if its done right) On the other hand a dual clutch transmission and all wheel drive is my dream.

my honest suggestion is take $20k as a down payment on a new GT-R. dealerships are selling them for $85K right now. much beter buy than a used one for 65-70K. unless it's a 2013. quickest 0-60 & 1/4 stock.

but i'm right there with you on the decision of 20K for TT and upgraded 7AT vs. other things.

Not new @ ALL. Nevertheless I commented and accidentally included your quote. I know you have an Automatic. After all I was one of the members with the GTM Twin SC's.

Next up More Boost --> Turbo.

So then what was all this talk about avoidong gears 1, 5, 6, and 7 if you have a SC'd 7AT? Is it still a concern? Im not the type to run it on tracks or redline everyday but ofcourse i do enjoy taking it up a notch every now and then. Driving 22 miles down and back for work, I shouldnt need a tranny cooler would I? I know it wouldn't hurt but I like the motto of, If it ain't broke don't fix it. Lol

@FPEnvy. GTM is the only Company to support the AWD Platform. To top that off I am definitely going to fcuk with Sam but I'm going to approach it at a different just like I have in the past.

One should never invest or make a down payment until the damm kit is in stock and is ready to be shipped ASAP.

And when you make the purchase utilized a Credit Card for Security Purpose.

I'm assuming you have a supercharger. The Z did not come from the factory forced induction, so by adding it you should take precaution and add a transmission cooler to help absorb some added stress from heat. Things get real hot real quick!

You have to always worry about the 7AT Transmission bro. It is just that SC comes on a lot smoother because it is Belt Driven (Linear).

The transmission will fail later down the road compared to the Turbo. The TQ is what cause the issue for our AT platform. The limitation for our Transmission regarding torque is 400.

To preserve the life of the Transmission (One should invest in an Intercooler, GTM VB upgrade or Level Ten VB Upgrade Plus increasing the Line pressure via Uprev Software.

Yeah, well Sam is never going to stock a X platform kit. And he's not going to complete one by the time you start a claim with your credit card... Lol

I am not hear to defend Sam. But don't chime in if you unaware of Sam and I business relationship. Like I stated, I was the 1st owner of the GTM twin SC kit and paid for my product and received it.

I don't know what CC's you've owned but I surely know that I've been able to submit claim's for an item that I haven't received if I have the Bill of sale for proof and countless emails and text to prove to my Lender what the business protocol involved including time frame!

That is all she wrote.

I am with It. Totally Understand where you are coming from. But sometimes you've to be willing to role the dices with you know who

Moving forward Sam conveyed to me that the Kits have to be on the shelf before they can proceed with the customer orders. *The Business practice has changed according to the new Majority owners of GTM*
