We have not test fit the GTX3582R on our kit as of yet.

Thanks, Tony

I dont think a Gt35 would fit. It would have to be custom housings. I have a set of GTX3076 turbos and there barley fit. I will be curious if the will fit with tony's manifold. I know he test fitted them in solidworks (looks like that's what they used to R&D) but tough to say if they will fit in the chassis.

GTM is the only shop to use GT35 series turbo's (that I know of). They use a custom set of housing to make it fit. They have GT35 wheels but not a true GT35 housing.

GTX Turbos are siiiick. Glad tony choose these.

The GTX3582 comes with a compressor housing that has a 4 inch inlet with 2.5 inch outlet standard. In order to make it fit it can be purchased with the compact GT28 style 3 inch inlet with 2 inch outlet.

My GTX3076 have the 4 inch intake and 2.5-2.0 (cant remember the outlet size, but the inlet is 4") inch outlet and it fits. The thing I am worried about is the actual width of the compressor housing. Not sure if its wider or how much wider it is from the GT30. There is like .25-.5" of space between the strut wall (fire wall what ever you want to call it) and .25-.5" of clearance between the motor. I have a 350z but I know the 370z engine bay is almost identical. The starter will come into play also. Not much room between them.

There is also no point in running a GTX35 because our blocks aren't good for that kind of power. The GTX3076 are capable of like 610hp each. So about 1200hp or so total.

Tony choose the perfect turbo's for the kit. The 28's will be good for 99 percent of the people that will ever own a z. Even if you plan to build the motor in the future they should be able to kit 700whp. Very few people take Z cars over 700whp. Sleeved motor's never hold up for vq's and the DE blocks were only good for around 800whp. Not sure what the vhr/ hr block will hold too. But if I had to guess it would be in the same ball park.

Sounds like you have the stock compressor housing 4 inch inlet with the 2 inch outlet witch is the same as the standard size GT3076. This is the reason the compact compressor housing is used because of the tight space in the engine bay.

Update,

Without going in to too much detail...We have the first set of production manifolds, and they fit! Let the installs commence. The first is scheduled to drop his car off this Thursday. We will be finalizing the installation instructions over the first 2-3 installations and then we will start to ship out. I will keep everyone apprised here on the forum with results. FYI, this first installation is a GT28RS car.

In addition, like I did a few weeks back, I will email our current customers on the list to coordinate drop off and projected ship dates.

Lastly, those who have purchased and kept the faith and patience in us, we thank you. It has been a long windy road but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting real big. Stay tuned, by Christmas there should be a good amount of 370z customers with (installed) FI TT Kits.

If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you, Tony

Hey Tony,
Good talking to you last week. I appreciate the frequent touchpoints and updates.

As I said when we first started talking about this almost 2 years ago, I'm in for the long haul. The reason I choose to work with you guys is the absolute top notch quality product you produce, the phenomenal customer service, and the way you run your business in general.
Nothing I have experienced since those early days have made me question my decision in any way, only validated it.

Yes, it's taken a while to get everything off the ground, but that's part of the cost of a quality, motorsport-grade product. A fact which I knew from the beginning. If you had rushed to just get a product "out the door", it would have been disappointing and departure from past F.I. experiences. There's a reason people are still lined up on a huge list for your exhausts, and I have no doubt there will be a similar list for the TT kit once we start seeing the production kits on the street.

Dealing with you and your team has been a pleasure from the start. Hanging with you at ZDayZ was an added bonus.

It's getting hard to contain my excitement as we get closer to the end here. I can't wait to start thrashing it out on the track.

See you soon!
~Josh
