Not sure he was talking **** so much as showing respect for the GT-R. Probably doing so for the same reason guys like me built the crap out of small blocks roaming the street for unsuspecting big block cars. Entry level costs, challenge of the build etc. besides the GTR being turbo from the factory (as well as AWD) and similar displacement, WHY NOT? I believe if he were really talking smack, he'd be aiming for other brands. Finally, to your point, with all the 1200-1500hp GTRs, Lambos, Ferarris etc, why even bother? Just buy a PRIUS and stay in the granny lane.
Not starting a scuffle, just pointing out whats obvious to me.
